Child, Adolescent & Teen Therapy
Supporting Growth Through Life’s Transitions
At The Morning After Therapy Services, we recognize that childhood and adolescence come with unique emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Whether your child is navigating grief, trauma, foster care transitions, family changes, school stress, or identity issues, we provide a safe, affirming space to process and heal.
We work with children and teens (ages 6–17) experiencing:
Trauma, abuse, or neglect
Grief and loss
Behavioral issues at home or school
Anxiety, depression, or mood changes
Identity and self-esteem struggles
Emotional regulation or anger outbursts
Our Approach
We use a gentle, developmentally appropriate mix of:
Expressive Arts & Play-Based Therapy – allowing kids to safely express emotions when words are hard to find
CBT & Narrative Therapy – helping older children and teens reshape unhelpful thoughts and own their stories
Somatic Tools – calming the nervous system through breath, movement, and grounding techniques
Attachment & Family-Informed Models – honoring the child's ecosystem and their need for safe connection
What Makes Us Different
Many children and teens carry invisible layers of grief, trauma, and unmet emotional needs. At The Morning After Therapy Services, we meet young people where they are, with culturally sensitive care that honors their lived experience.
We are passionate about
creating safe, creative, and healing-centered spaces for youth to:
Reclaim their voice
Rebuild trust
Reimagine their future
Our approach blends evidence-based practices with warmth, flexibility, and a deep belief in each child’s resilience. Whether your child is working through a recent event or years of layered hurt, we are here to walk alongside them and their support system in the morning after.
